Urgency

Amount of text

The amount of a translation is expressed in so called standard lines of text. One standard line is built of 50 characters (blanks included) which can be letters, numbers or other special signs.

Complexity

The complexity of a translation refers both to the content as well as to the layout of the text. The translation is complex when for instance many industry-specific terms are used that require expert knowledge and reseach for translation. This takes extra time. On the other hand when your translation only comprises standard text and components the price will be lower.

Official character

Oficial documents suchs as diplomas, certificates or extracts from a commercial register normally require a certified translation with stamp, signature and statement of the translator. This is to certify that the translation is genuine and matches the original text as delivered to the translator.
